The threat landscape in recent years has gone through a dramatic and fundamental change that has provided customers and security vendors alike a new set of challenges in protecting against malware.

Threats have evolved from simple viruses to sophisticated, stealthly attacks that have multiple ways to propogate malware, remote control your PCs and steal your data.

In response to this, Trend Micro have developed a new method to scan for malicious code called SmartScan technology, which is incorporated into the OfficeScan product suite and is part of the wider of Trend Micro's Smart Protection Network.

Secon have been designing and implementing SmartScan since its introduction in OfficeScan 10. In this education webinar, the delegate will learn how this technology works, how best to implement it and some of the best practices Secon have used to successfully implement this technology.
