Websense Aquires Surfcontrol
The Leader in the Content Filtering Market, Websense Inc. has acquired SurfControl Plc. in the last quarter of 2007. The combined solutions from both companies have resulted in a very complete offering and have positioned Websense in a position to provide a mature and reliable content filtering solution across all areas of IT: Web traffic, E- mail traffic, IM, etc.
As part of our FREE technical training program, we are now announcing a series of half - day workshops where your technical staff can learn hands-on how to migrate from Surfcontrol to Websense in a pain-less way. They can also get some practical advise directly from our certified consultants on the best ways to implement the new upgraded Websense portfolio.
It is opportune to remind our customers that these workshops are NOT a sales event for Secon Solutions or any of our partners and that they are run and delivered independently by our technical department.
Our objective with them is to give your technical staff an un-weighted view on these solutions without involving commercial discussions. We consider this independent approach an added value that we can give our customers. You then have the opportunity to discuss afterwards with our sales force any commercial questions you may have if you choose to do so.
