Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC) is a set of technologies and solutions providing control over network access, which is based on an industry-wide initiative implemented under the leadership of Cisco Systems. NAC enables customers to provide Internet access only to secure end-devices (e.g., workstations, servers and PDAs) which meet the requirements defined by the system administrator and to restrict access to devices that do not meet these requirements.
