What We Do

We are a leading Managed Service Provider and Systems Integrator specialising in Core Network Infrastructure, Mobile Device Management and Security, Corporate Anti-Virus, Application Delivery, Remote Access, Firewall/VPN Infrastructure and Web/Email Security for some of the largest organisations in Europe. In the 11 years since Secon was founded, we have created a culture to bring new approaches in the way our clients leverage core IT services.

We are one of Juniper Networks, Websense and Trend Micro’s largest support, implementation, service and integration partners; consistently delivering best practice and high quality implementations of their product portfolio. Our service levels and managed services portfolio are of the highest calibre and we ensure that adopters of our solutions get the maximum performance out of their investment.

About Secon

The story starts in 1999. Secon started as a security-focused ‘reseller', providing customers with IT security software and hardware.

But from the outset Secon offered its customers more.

One of the first companies to introduce Gateway Antivirus to its customers, Secon was also one of the first companies to introduce appliance firewalls, as well as web and e-mail content filtering.

Secon was one of the original dedicated security systems providers in the UK.

As its client base grew, so too did its client requirements: services were added to provide a better return for customers including Helpdesk and extended technical expertise. With this background it is not surprising that ‘expertise' is one of the most important words in the Secon vocabulary. This tradition continues today and it is the reason why Secon continues to lead the field.

Secon is widely-known for its integrity, its attention to detail, and as a company that will ‘get the job done'. It is a point of pride that Secon never has, and never will, ‘walk away from an issue.' Building on these firm foundations, in recent years Secon has seen an increase in the number of customers requiring engineering expertise and consultancy: looking for no-nonsense advice in streamlining their business operations.

Secon is also often selected by its vendors as a Beta-test partner - an accolade in its own right.

Today, the Business is perfectly positioned for strategic and tactical outsourcing: marked by important innovations such as the Secon Security CARE Contract.

Secon continues to lead the market through product and service innovation such as the Remote Access CARE Contract, Security CARE Contract and the Cloud Security CARE Contract.

The Company consistently looks to increase its accreditations and its ability to maintain the high standards and expectations it has already set. Secon is leading the field in setting industry standards: a founder member of the Association of Data Security Integrators, looking towards the new challenges facing the industry and leading the way in ensuring that customer expectations are met...and exceeded.

To ensure that we deliver the highest levels of quality and service to our clients, all Secon staff are regularly offered the opportunity to take part in skills-related training and events.

Our technical staff are fully vendor-compliant and operate to the latest standards.

To reinforce our commitment to quality, Secon is also currently obtaining the ISO9001 Standard for Quality Management accreditation and the Prince2 based methodology for project management accreditation - the de-facto standard for data integration.
